what is the best way to clean your closet and keep it neat?
I have a small space, and I end up using my chair to put my clothes on, any suggestions?

- buy a clothes rack put your clothes on that..space savers you can get at any store even plastic bins shoe racks..look for ajwright around where you live they have all this stuff or target walmart kmart use tupperware for jewerly stuff like that. send us a pic of your closet and i can suggest what you need!

- First-go through and give away anything you haven't worn lately or doesn't fit Second- purchase some of those bags that store clothes, etc.and put your seasonal things in them, take the air out of the bag You could buy some of those hangers that have several "limbs" on them so you could place several pairs of jeans, etc. on each hanger. Use additional storage under bed for plastic boxes.

- Get rid of all clothing and shoes that you havent worn in a year or more. If you try something on and decide not to wear it put it back immediately. Put your clothing away as soon as it comes out of the dryer. Develop a system that works for you, fold sweaters and put them on the top shelf, hang all other tops, fold tshirt and pants, etc. Be consistent and you will forever be organized.
- I use those over the door hooks/hangars in the closet so that I will not be tempted to throw the clothes over the back of a chair. I may not actually put them on hangars and put them in the closet, but its easy to hang them on a hook on the closet door and looks a lot better. Then when I get time, I take the things off the hook and hang them up properly.
