How should I clean out my closet?
Whats the best way to clean out my closet. Also once i clean it out once the best way to help me tell my mom i need new clothes

- The best way to clean your room or your closet is to take everything out and put it on your bed. Then, you have to put everything away before you go to sleep. when you put it all away, you will just have to organize everything that you put away. Maybe while you are organizing, you will find some old stuff to donate. Just show your mom all of the clothes you are getting rid of and tell her you need some new ones.
- Get some large Hefty bags for things you know you don't want, things to donate, and things you do want. My way of knowing if I don't want something is asking myself if I haven't seen it in a year and missed it, it isn't important to me, so out it goes. If you really clean your closet and donate a lot your Mom might be happy enough to get you new clothes. And you can always take apart and remake clothes in a new style all your own if you're crafty.

- Pull everything out into one big pile. Separate the clothes into three piles: keep, donate, and throw away (torn clothes or old underwear and socks, which Salvation Army, etc. won't take). Show your mom the piles (believe me, the "throw away" and "donate" piles will likely be impressive). Remember to approach her in a mature manner: clothes cost money, and if you're getting rid of stuff for more than just the reasons that they are worn out or don't fit, you don't "need" clothes, you would just like some new stuff (I get the same way - a closet full of stuff but I "have nothing to wear").
