How does Cat get into a closed closet?

My cat Is somehow finding a way past a closed closet door and I can't figure out how

1. My smallest cat can crawl under the door but we have a big space between the door and the floor.
2. IT HAS BRAINS !!! WOW......HE HE...LOLZ...OK I'M REALLY SCARING MYSELF RIGHT NOW !
3. Is there an open bathroom access panel in the closet? If so, the cat could be crawling under the bathtub or into the access area from the basement and then coming out of the panel in the closet. My cats sometimes do that.
4. Small cats can squeese by...........but my cats open the door.....they push with their head, or sometimes use their paw ans pull between the two doors. bu then they DO get stuck.
