How much will it cost to tear down a wall between my bedroom and a walk-in closet?
I'm moving into a new house and there is a wall between my bedroom and a small walk-in closet with a door in between. I would like to tear that wall down, and put up sand blasted glass sliding doors in place of it. How much will it cost, and if I can do it myself how?

- depends...you can do it yourself..mke sure it is not a berring wall..(support wall) it is easy...wht are you going to put there are do with the space.
- Are you wanting to install floor-to-ceiling glass sliders? Or the standard 6' 8"? Well, either way, you're gonna want to get it checked out to make sure the wall is not load-bearing; that it's not an integral piece in the integrity of your ceiling and roof. My advice to you would be to call around to a few of your local General Contractors that give free estimates. They'll come by and check everything out, and each will give you a price. This won't cost you anything. You might even like one and use him for the job. But make sure he goes up in the attic and checks it out first hand. If he doesn't, don't use him. Good luck.
