What would make a faucet 'burp' when turned on?
Our bathroom sink and our kitchen sink earlier when I turned the faucet on it sorta "burped" for a second before the water started to come out normally. Could it be because of the cold change in weather, or is it something I have to worry about?

- mine did that just once so and not again, i would check later see if it does it or not, if it does, call a plumber :)
- Sounds like ur taps have got trapped wind!
- not to worry, it's just air in the lines...it probably won't happen again.
- sounds like it had some air in the main line maybe from a leak being fixed by utility company . just keep an eye on it and if continues call a plumber.
- their is most likely air in your lines should not be a problem.
- if it's hot water you may have a bad heating element in the water heater.if cold water you might have a leak or possibly your water main has a leak ,check the street for signs of a water leak, and check your basement.
- air pocket
