- i've seen canvas hanging shelvy things sold on line http://www.shopgetorganized.com they are for shoes primarily
- first, throw away all the stuff u don't want or use anymore. then go some place like ikea and get one of those closet organizers. they have compartments for your clothes, shoes, etc.
- If you get some shelving units, shoe storage bins and hooks to hold your purses this might help. I have several storage bins that hang from my closet clothes rack. I store my shoes in those. Another good thing for shoes is a shoe rack that you put on the ground. I couldnt use the shoe racks because I dont have much room on the floor of my closet so the shoe bin that hangs from the clothes rack is very beneficial in my case. Also If you dont have much wall space in your closet then you can either hang your purses from a clothes hanger or if you have shelves you can stack them nealty on the shelves so they ar visible. I have found that using a hook on empty wall space is the most efficient way for me to hang my purses and keep them organized. Another tip I use is to put all of my clothes in the closet by color. (group black pants, skirts, shirts etc. together and then blue together and so on) this helps me find exactly what outfit I am looking for in a hurry. Because when you have an outfit in mind, you know what color it is, but when all your clothes are mixed up it seems like you can never find it! This saves me a lot of time! You can find any of these organizational items at Bed Bath and Beyond and probably at a Walmart. But I have found the best ones at Bed Bath and Beyond I Hope this helps!
- ok, all u need 2 do is empty it out and while ur emptying it sort it into piles of like items and a pile of clothes that u want 2 get rid of or don't wear... after ur closet is empty, re-hang all ur clothes neatly and keep the items in each of ur piles close together, like short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, shorts, pants, dresses, skirts, etc.... after ur done re-hanging ur clothes sort ur shoes out as well..... after u r done sorting ur shoes u can lay them out across ur floor in the closet or u can get one of those hanging shoe racks 2 put on the inside of the door..... 4 the rest of ur stuff like purses and pocketbooks u can put in seperate bins..... just line them up neatly in a clear plastic bin and label it and put them on a shelf in ur closet.... then ur bascially done......
- Hi. First, look at what you have, and decide if you want to keep it all. Having less stuff will help keep it neater and have room to add new stuff in the future. You can donate clothes you are not using to thrift shops or shelters. Next, sort everything into categories. See if there's anything you can put in other rooms in the house (coats in coat closet, etc.) Next, see if there's anything that would be OK in drawers. Then, see if there's anything you can store in clear underbed boxes (seasonal, costumes, etc.). Then put things back in the closet. The best hangers are the velvety "ultra slim" hangers sold at Bed, Bath & Beyond. They save space and are very versitle. I'd get an expandable shoe rack for the bottom of the closet. You'll see all of your shoes, and it'll be easy to keep neat. If that doesn't work, try an over-the-door shoe organizer. Then I'd get clear plastic bins for your purses, and put them on the shelf at the top of the closet above the bar (if you have one). If you don't have one, I'd get an over-the-door purse organizer or temporary 3M hooks. If your closet is small, but really tall, consider a hanging second bar for shirts or pants. Good luck!
