Is a lighthouse theme for a bathroom in style?

Hi, I just bought a lighthouse rug, lotion holder, toothbrush holder, bathroom cup, shower curtain, and shower hooks, and I was just wondering if that theme for a bathroom is in style? I got the collection at Wal-Mart (and it wasn't that cheap) and I got a red trashcan and a blue potpourri holder that wasn't lighthouse themed, to try and pick up the other colors. So is a lighthouse theme (for a bathroom) mature enough and fashionable enough? Your answers are appreciated, thanks.

2. If you like it, then it is. Not many people see the bathroom besides you and youll be the one spending all the time in there. My sisters bathroom is done with some lighthouse accents and it looks fine.
3. The lighthouse theme for bathrooms is one of those styles that is always acceptable. It's become traditional, and is popular enough that it gets redone with new stuff every year. It'll never go out of style!
4. i say be true to your style. if you like it and can live with it everyday, go for it. i did a bathroom in lighthouses a few years ago and as my taste changes i changed it. it is yourself you have to please.I have seen some of those collections and some are really cute.
5. You go girl! The nautical theme is always in style. I visited a designer showcase home over the Christmas holidays and the den, master bedroom, and master bathroom (suite) were all done in a nautical theme. Better yet, go with what YOU like!!!
6. Themes are no longer in style. If you just so happen to collect a few things, sure... but it sounds like a bit much. Just keep the lotion thing and hooks. Have a Campbell's day.
7. i think general sea themes in bathrooms are nice. theres always gonna be someone who tells you that something isnt in style so dont care about that. if you like it it is nice. people always like my mums bathroom. she has a really cool toilet seat that has shells and a little fish inside it. it made of clear perspex stuff. go with the lighthouses!

9. YES! My bathroom is lighthouses and I get compliments on it all the time. I bought all of my stuff from www.jjhomedecors.com. They have lighthouse stuff for a good price and I get a lot of stuff there
10. Lighthouses never go out of style,but buying everything to match sometimes looks boring. Buy things at different places that go together but don't necessarily exactly match. Also, expand your theme alittle. Try hanging a ships wheel on the wall or find a picture of an old sailor to add interest. A seashell wreath might look good too.
