Stripped screws? Anyone know how to get them off?
I'm trying to change a washer on a bathroom faucet. Upon flipping off the cap, I found the screw is totally worn down, I cant unscrew it. Does anyone have any tips on how to remove it? I really dont want to pay for a plumber.

- This is easy you can buy a tool for this go to Home Depot or Lowes they can help .
- The tool you'll need is an easyout. You'll also need a drill and small drill bit.
- I think the screw you mention is very small, File it flat, using a masonery nail, hit it in the centre with a hammer to cause a dent, then using a very fine drill bit, drill it out. Replace washer and insert a hardened self-tapping screw into the old hole.which you may have to make bigger..
